Coronado Towers is located in beautiful New Smyrna Beach, NSB for short. It is the quintessential beach town with miles of white sandy beach and a main street with surf shops, pastel colored boutiques, eateries with broad porches all lined by palm trees. It's the perfect family town in which to relax.

NSB is divided into 2 parts - the beachside and the mainland. Flagler Avenue is the main street on the beachside and our condo rentals are only a short walk away. Stroll the shops or try out a restaurant while staying with us. It is very convenient. The images to the right feature some of the shops on Flagler Ave.

NSB also hosts several events on Flagler throughout the year such as art fairs, wine tasting, and a seafood festival. See the bulletin board in our office when you check in for events or click here.

Florida map

New Smyrna Beach is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean's east coast in central Florida. See the image to the left or the directions page. Coronado Towers is approximately 22 miles south of Daytona Beach airport and 77 miles northeast of Orlando International Airport.

We can't promise perfect weather but, in general, it's nice. The summers are hot with the temperature in the 90's (Fahrenheit), the ocean temperature in the low 80's and late afternoon rains occurring about every 3rd day. All day rain events are rare. The spring and fall are wonderful - it's the dry season and the temperature is in the 80's. The winter normally has daytime temperatures in the 70's. Click here for weather.com to see the averages for a certain month.

Want to walk on the beach? New Smyrna Beach has 13 miles for you to explore. It is all state owned and open to the public. The northern edge is bounded by the inlet. It is beautiful here with the lighthouse across the river on the Daytona side, huge imported rocks to stop shifting sand and lots of wide-open spaces. If you travel south out of the city limits, you'll run into Canaveral National Seashore Park. This park has been left in its natural state. The town portion of the beach has limited development due to city rules allowing beautiful views to remain. Here it is convenient to grab a hotdog from one of the beach stands or stop for lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the beach.

For more activities around town, see the entertainment page.
